Default Tire time for Grizz... 26" or 27"

getting ready to order some new tires for the Grizz. I know I want the Mudlites since we do a good mix of riding, trail, muddy trails, woods etc. I originally wanted to get 26" so I could stay close to the stock diameter (for the odo and speedo etc) but I am thinking maybe I should go 27" now. Will there really be any diff in the 26 and 27 besides and extra 1/2 of ground clearance? I know the 25" is the AT and has the smaller lug, but the 26+ should all have big lugs, right?

Kraw, for the riding it sounds like you do, the 26 is the better choice. I have the 27s and they make the center of gravity just that much worse. They are also slightly heavier. Be prepared to clutch the grizz to get back the bottom end. Now in heavy mud and stuck there are times the grizz barely turns them. I would go with the 26s if I had to do it over again. I also lost about 3 mph top end from the previous 26 bearclaws.

already got them 26" Mudlites. I have pics www.krawdaddy.net/atv/grizzly.htm Not very good, it was dark and overcast.

I'm thinking about getting an extra set for my Rappy, some Dirt D's in 22" Saw them on a warrior and was VERY impressed
