i want a set of nerf bars for my ds.
my freinds both got new AC racing pro peg nerfs for thier yfz's (come with the heel guard and the nice wide pegs)

what nerfs would you guys suggest?
the propegs are about 200
and wb and normal ac nerfs are like 80-100...

anyone on here run the propegs? if so how do you like them?

 

I've never had an aluminum footpeg, but I currently have stainless steel pegs from Roll Design - the hardest metal used in a peg - and even they have wear on the teeth after a year. If you ride alot, expect the aluminum teeth to wear really fast, just guessing here of course.
I'm partial to nerfs that bolt to the front engine mounts, apposed to mounts that clamp to frame with buggering u-bolts, you might consider that too.

i love my pro pegs, took a lil work to get the heelguards on but they work awesome, i have 22" tires and i can put my foot inbetween the heel guard and tire, and they bolt up to the motor mount too

 

I have a set of DG Nerfs. I think they look the best. Fit was very easy and they are a wider net area than most. I put the aftermarket alum. heel gards on and they look great. Will post pics when the 720 kit done next week with new swing arm. I helped my buddy put the propegs on his bike and it was a pain in the azz! They didn't fit to well and I didn't like how the heel gards bolts to the nerf bar. Hope that helps

I would get the AC the Roll Pegs and the Roll heal gaurds..

I would not get the DG's. No one here has ever had good luck. Everyone love the graydon or AC

 

i like my ac propegs they were kinda hard to get on, but they work great, and they look good.

AC Nerfs w/ roll Design/IMS pegs w/ kick up. Or Pro Peg AC's. Thats what I have, one of the best mods I have made. Heel guards are nor needed, chuck them in the trash. They slow you down!
