scrambler 50 needs more power

Default scrambler 50 needs more power

anything we can do to make my little brothers quad a little faster? He has seemed to outgrow it already and hes only 4 years old.

Default scrambler 50 needs more power

There's lots you can do. I just had my son's scrambler modified with a new exhaust, carb, and variator wieghts. To say the least she screams now. If he's 4, I'd start with a new non-rev limiting CDI and let him grow into it from there. You can get these boxes on e bay for about $35 and you will see a huge difference!

i looked on ebay and didnt see a cdi box. Is there anywhere else you can buy them at?

Default scrambler 50 needs more power

Here's the link to the e bay CDI that I used. This will increase the RPM's dramatically, cut the green wire on the back and it will have no rev limit.
