the Raptor is a tiny bit shorter, but has a little longer wheel base and is slighly heavier than the 400ex, according to the Honda web page, which will mean little when you compare a 400 air to a 660 liquid.

 

You are right.Front to rear specs are close but where the problem is,is in width and height particularly seat height.2' taller sitting rider on a 2"narrower width wise setup combined with high mounted radiator means top heavy in turns.I see alot of inexperienced riders easily flipping this thing on its side.Thats my point.

 

I know I two wheel easier on my 400EX than I ever did on my 250R I cant imagine having a 2inch narrower quad and sitting higher.
