i would like to start drag racing and all i got so far is just a k&n filter im probaly gonna get ther white bros e exhaust or c1 but i dont know whether to get 440 or 460 bore so please help me out any sugestions

 

The 400ex is not the best for the drag strip, in order to be competitive, you will greatly sacrifice reliability...But, if you want to go with the ex, more power to ya.
First off, you're going to need a big bore( might even want to go with a stroker motor), high compression, probably 13.5:1 or similar, which will warrent the use for race gas, and a head stud upgrade. Going to need a race grind camshaft and hard faced rockers. You will also need a new carb.
This ought to get you started.

 

i have two ds's and there both fast, and one is really fast. but i have to say the honda is a lot of fun to run until it loses. i think it would be a great drag racer if you go gunning for 400"s

 

oh and call sparks or powroll and look into there kits. that way you will be able to get a plan to work towards.

 

look into CT racings 440 HO kit i have herd there good
