does any body know what the best mod would be to beat a 400ex for like $600 nothin major just some easy bolt ons and go so i can beat z400's and more in its class in lik just a drag race

 

i mean to beat a z400 and its competiters with a 400ex

 

maybe a pipe and bigger carb

 

it already has a stoke 38mm carb in the 2004

 

Get a pipe,jet kit, and an Atv power kit. That should probly out run a Z.
If not you could get the cylinder race ported.

 

if you have a 04 with the bigger carb then there is the pipe and a black box with higher rev limit.

 

i got an 01 and i can out run a 400 kfx with a k&n filter White brothers e exhaust the best and i got the 2004 carban all he got dont was a exhaust there not relly that much faster its just that they got a better pipe stock and tires he was a much more experience ryder then me

 

i have to wate untill the end of november when that comes im going to go right upthere and pay cash and wile im there im going to get some protection and mods

 

i think it wil be a good bike for me i have a 2003 blaster right now that i got in january. ive had a growth spurt and grew out the dawm thing know im goign to get a bigger bike that is awsome on wheelies oh one more quiestion can they do a wheelie in 5th gear
if u can keep it up to the balence piont. have u guys seen the movies in www.cvboyz.com part 2 how that guy on the warrior hes on a wheelie and spinns the bike aruond how does he do that.

 

with a cam and piston, i smoke z's pretty bad. my motor doesn't have much work either. i have a complete pipe, jettting, airbox mods, 11 compression piston, and a stage 2 hotcam. i beat those z's all the way through the gears without a problem. the piston, cam, gaskets, and boring came out to be around $380. just get an owners manual and you can do it all yourself. it is not hard at all. i never worked on an engine before and i did mine without any problems with an owners manual. the cam and piston gave me way more power than my complete pipe, filter, and jets and costs quite a bit less.
