Default Warrior spits and sputters at high rpms

I bought a warrior about a month ago. All I know about it is that it has a dg pipe and a K&n air filter. Not sure if it has been jetted or what size it is yet. It had been sitting for several months when I bought it. I cleaned the air filter, drained the gas put a new plug in it . My problem occurs at high rpms in the top two gears. It almost sound like it is missing. I am new to atvs so any help is greatly appreciated.

Check your plug, sounds like a jetting problem

Light brown is pretty much what you want.

What altitude are you at? At around sea level a 148 or 150 main is what most go with for that setup.
Make sure your valve lash is correct.

good luck,
-Marc

there was someone one on the forum earlier with a similar problem that was found to be a bent valve. Do you know if the valve adjusting lock nut ever backed it's way off and possibly bent the valve?
