It seems that I get a different price every time I ask. What are some of the rates you guys have seen. I'm seeing 40 to 60 an hour here.

They rip people off about 60$ an hour here. Not worth it when i can do it myself for free $ an hour.

My friend went to the yamaha shop to see how much $$ they would give for his banshee, the guy came out there with a calculator subtracting BS off the quad to swindle him out of some money, the guy even said, get this, he would have to pay the mechanics $100.00 to change the front tires!! of course he was lying, he just wanted to subtract more money to rip him off. OT but his 2002 banshee was valued a $2900.00 for a bent rim, and bald front tires. There was an old 1986 moto 4 they were selling for $2850.00!!!! that thing was a piece! enough said, im not going to get that yamaha place to fix my quad(well, i never did) or spend my money on them again, theyre just a bunch of thieves. and no this isnt BS

The average is between $45 to $60 an hour. Dedending on the frequency of your visits to their shop. The better you know the mechanics or owners the better the price. You know the "good 'ol boy" system.I have one guy I charge only $20 an hour because I know his financial state, and with that know that this amount of money will be guaranteed. So, it really depends on the quality of work that's being done and unfortunately this becomes trial and error. The more you pay per hour isn't always going to get your machine done faster or better, just cost you more. The choice is yours, but I would do my homework check prices and quality of work then make a decision.Remember, when it comes to any trade BAD NEWS TRAVELS FAST!! Good luck.
