500out of gas, now won't start
#4
I know when my TB or Magnum run out (which I try not to do), it takes a while for the gas to reach the carb. After refilling, or even just turning to Reserve, I have to crank the engine quite a bit before it catches fire.
I have put a drop or two of gas into the carb to help it also. (maybe a few more drops)

Me too. Once I ran out of gas and because I had heavy gloves on I fumbled to switch it to reverse. By the time I got it switched I had stopped. I cranked that sucker for 5 mins before it fired up again.
