Recommendation on 03 stock raptor (PIPE)

if you are gunna leave the motor stock I wouldn't put a full system on it unless you just have the money burning a hole in your pocket..........
you will see some gains with the full system.........but its not essential......
I like the hmf slip on.....

if u want to add a pipe then atleast go with a full pipe but also might want to think about getting a k&n filter, jetting the cards. k&n and jets might run you 60 bucks....well worth the money. what pipe u going with?

Good question. I have a new stock 04' raptor and was wondering the same thing. I will definately do the K&N filter and jet kit first. I was also considering the GYR-T pipe. Is that a good pipe or is there something better? I want to keep it as quiet as possible because we have a couple of Sherrif's on XR650's that potrol and would probably give a citation. I ran into them before...one guy was very nice but the other was a real PR#@$. I'm not sure what other mods or worth doing. Any feedback from those who have done some mods would be great.

well I think if I had to do it all over again.........I would get a full system, k&n, and jet kit all at the same time.............(install it at the same time anyway........)
cause I hate jetting this damn thing and if you had them piece by piece then you will have to jet twice.......
if you want a quiet full system the only thing that comes to mind is MBRP with a sparky.........

Guys, this is off the subject and a stupid questions I know but I have to ask someone.
How do I post a new Subject? I can post feedback to subjects already posted but I'm not sure how to post a new one.
Thanks, and sorry for the ignorance.

Thanks for the advise AlphaRaptor660R.
I want to uncork my ride but not at the expence of being hastled by the local law enforcement. I'm pretty happy with my Raptor but it isn't the rocket I thought it might be so I want to help it at least see it's potential.
