Fires in California may cancel our trip to Glamis this weekend, any one have any news about freeway closures??? Everyone close to fire, stay safe and use your head…

 

Your in Whittier. You'll have no problems getting to Glamis. The 10 fwy is not closed at all.

 

I've been wondering how close the fires have come to you Dave.

 

closd the 118 near my house,the only question is the 178 for people coming from san diego.... whittier shoot you have nothing to worry about ,dont give up o quick..see at Glamis.

 

I could throw a rock at them. The one that started in Waterman Canyon and the one that started above Fontana last Tuesday met at Devore Sunday. Devore is a 10 minute drive north through city streets for me. To get to the starting points of each of those 2 fires is a 20 minute drive at best for me. I can look out my back window and see the fires on the hills. It appears that Glen Helen Raceway didn't burn up that I know of. I'm not sure about the Little League Championship games stadium whether it was saved or not. Had some friends evacuated and stuff but I don't live close enough to the mountains to have had to worry about that. The smoke was insane Sunday when the fires met in Devore though, a little better today. Saw on the news tonight that with all the fires over 800 homes were destroyed. Hope the sick fawks that started these fires get caught.

 

just evacuted porter ranch near my house,it's about 15 min. from where i live..got to get the Raptor out and get her to a safe place,oh yea the wife too..lol
