I got my 'shee for $3500.... I've added elkas, .20topend(my fault), rear spacers, chain/sprockets, -2.5, and grips. I can hang w/ the so called "great handling 250r's/440ex's around the track... matter of fact I pass them in the woops. It just takes a better rider to haul the 'shee around the track, I can also run right w/ the 400ex's in the woods also. I would go w/ the 'shee any day of the week.

definitly a banshee. you won't ever get made fun of by riding one. they are fast. My step-dad bought a 95 shee for only 2200 with good tires. that gives you some extra $ for mods.

the only part banshee's are better in are drags. Plus, it's a two-stroke and reliability sucks. ex sounds perfect, I've ridden both for a good 9 hrs straight on trails and ex is far better suspension, reliability, and comftorability. They have a bullet proof engine, and dance across whoops, and jumps that stock banshees can't touch. If you dump LOTS of money into a banshee they're awesome at mx, but have fun fixing you're quad after 15 miles then. Banshee's are SWEET fast bikes, but as much as I love the snappiness of two strokes it's a sad fact that they will soon be retired. You'd be better off with an ex, trail riding with banshees you're always shifting. Nothing beats Honda's reliabilty they're infamous for it. And you see alot more stock ex's at mx tracks than banshees. If you're gonna dump THOUSANDS into a banshee and only go duning the banshee is right for you.

Go to Vegas and let it ride on red... I think the banshee rocks as well, but any of the 400's are good bikes. It depends on where you plan to ride the most. Good luck and enjoy!

$3500 ... reliable sport quad. .. and you want a 2 stroke. I think you answered your own question. Banshee. As reliable as any other 2 stroke your gonna find I guess. I'm not a big 2 stroke fan but ... that looks like the best pick for you.
