you know you just started a war........ there faster, lighter, handle better, IMO look better, land better, more stable, did i mention lighter, and faster....... only downside to the yfz is no reverse and if you are using it for its intended purpose you dont need reverse.....
and i dont need reverse so i got it over the raptor....

 

Faster? that could be argued. you must be thinking stock vs stock to make that statement
Handles better...did you take a look at the Elka's and the +2 a-arms and extended swingarm? how much better can it handle.

well, without saying anything else. I must say, the Raptor is the sexiest quad. The yfz is nice and so is the Z and the R and such, but i think the looks of the raptor will never be beat. BTW, this is coming from a person who is annoyed at his raptor because he found out the frame cracks in MX.

 

For some of us its not a challenge enough to RIDE the vehicle, we have to go find something that has a high center of gravity(So we have to buy things to make it handle), blows out transmissions(so we can feed the desire to work on them), and makes relatively small hp numbers for the size of the Cubic centimeters of displacement(so that we can....as you guessed it, buy MORE parts and have the wife threaten to kick us out the homes)....... [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img] See for us its just to easy to RIDE something like the Yfz we have to make it more entertaining. If we bought something that was so close to perfection, what would we do with all our extra money we get? [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]

i got beat by a 727 raptor this weekend at coos bay. Suprised the hell out of me.

To make a trintity 727 do you really only need to buy the big bore 105mm stage IV high compression piston and the big bore sleeve? If so im getting a rappy over a yfz for sure


and is it true if you just change like your pipe like bumper and such things alluminum it will be as light as the yfz?
