FTZ Pipes, How good are they
#1
Anyone using these stingers. How do they help out on top end? Do they still keep a good midrange pull? If anyone can please tell me how they are working on their quads i'd really appreciate it.. Thanks, Kevin

Everyone has their favorties..... FTZ happens to be mine. I have their complete engine package for flat track/TT racing. My 91 LT250R pulls hard through the entire RPM range with no dead spots or sudden peaks.
One person had e-mailed me with questions about the FTZ in frame rev pipe. With his current pipe, his power was too peaky with sudden power hits. All that does is make you spin. After he got the FTZ pipe, he did e-mail me back to say that the pipe did smooth everything out.
The rev pipe is big, and may not work well with a mild port job and stock compression. That would be a question that you may have to throw at FTZ. Explain your intended purpose of the pipe, and see what they say.
My second choice would be LRD, if they are still making them for the LT.
Good luck!

Thanks alot FTZLT250R, the main purpose for the pipe will be hillclimbing and dirt dragging. My LT has more than enough bottom end i'd like it to have more on mid ranger and top end though.
