Default Good OTD price for 03 Prairie 650?

I am going to buy a new Prairie 650 and have looked everywhere for a good deal. The best deal I have found is a new 03 red for $5,995 OTD plus $69 for the warn winch. Any thoughts on this? Most dealers around here (within 200 miles - my driving limit for a quad) are either out of 650's or want $6,200+ for one. Thanks for any input.

I bought my 03 last november and just sold it two days ago for $5,900. I think you have found a good deal.

well i dont know, becuase my dealers around here are out of P650s and the cheapest i found a P700 OTD is 6,200.00 so its not to much more for the P700 i would say just to go with that

Bought my '03 P650 in May 2003 for about $5900 OTD (farm exempt). That was BEFORE Kaw. announced the P700 model was coming out, so I would guess that you can get a better deal (than $5900 OTD) on an '03 P650 now! NOTE: if I knew last May that the P700 was coming out so soon, I would have waited for it.

IMO, I would not buy a new '03 P650 just to save a few bucks compared to the price of a P700...if you are going to spend $5900 bucks anyway, go for broke and buy the big dog!

Happy trails...

unless they go down to 5600 or so for the 650.........go for the 700. you will find a tard here and there that says "my 650 will hang with a 700" but unless the 650 is modded to the gillls, they are on drugs and need serious counceling.

Thanks guys for the info. Cartman - where are you hearing good deals on Kawasakis in our area (Charleston or elsewhere in WV)? I talked to Keefers in Logan but they were way too high. I am in Morgantown at the time being and talked to several other local dealers (Lewisburg, Summersville, Beckley) but none of them will move. I'm going to try a local Morgantown dealer today and I might call the Harley shop in Charleston as well. Your input would be appreciated
