Wife wants to take a vacation to Maine, up around where Stephen King was born and raised (shes a huge SK fan), so I figure if she wants to go I might take the TrailBlazer with me and check out some of the Maine scenery. Can anyone tell me about the Bangor area? Are there ATV trails nearby? Any websites I can visit to get more info? Thanks guys.

 

Maine has thousands of trails.Just about all of the snowmobile trails are used for atvs during the summer. Ilive in southern Maine, far from Bangor, so I am not familiar with that area. But I know there are trails up there. Here is a link for you. www.mainerec.com/atvlaws.html

I am from Caribou, never ridden in the Bangor area, but i would call the local Polaris shop see if there are any clubs in the area, i am sure they would be glad to help you. Stephen King lives on a street in bangor his house is right on the street, we turned around in his driveway once the gate wasnt even closed!
