Default Radiator Shrouds - what a difference

I installed a pair of CT Racing's radiator shrouds. My radiator fan used to run after every ride, fast, slow, everytime I stopped the fan was running. I put the shrouds on and the fan's been on once since. I've gone to the dunes and ran a 88 mile desert race. I highly recommend installing this $70 mod.

take a look at the graydon ones there less than $50, but you may want to look at your jetting, it might be a little lean.

SANDMAN430 Thanks, Thats why these forums are great. I thought that I had to spend $100.00 or so, I think I have gotten my moneys worth out of the forums here! Some of us don't have deep pockets so we are looking for the best bang for the buck. Thanks again Sandman430!

if you have a heating issue try wiring your fan to a on off switch. run it when you push it and it will help.

SANDMAN430 thanks for the info, the only time I have any problems is when riding real slow with the old lady (OOPS) & the others slow riders just putting along real slow for a long time (newbies)

then the switch would be the thing to do i flip it on and never see a problem plus when racing it will help keep the engine oil cooler lees clutch slippage it costs like 5 bucks to do this simple mod. there is also the in line coolers, i think they help somethe shrouds probably only help at speed, but the look is nice. plus i've been seeing some nice paint details on them or they polish up ral nice.

The Graydon are identical to the CT. Made by the same company. They are $48. I have them and did not notice much differance.. I also ride woods and dont hit real high speeds. But the look dang cool and you can mount lights from them
