I really like the recon but i want a sport quad as well so why not get the best of both worlds?!? right? Aight to all the 250ex riders are they as good in the mud as recons (seein that u can rock yourself out of just about anything!!!!!) about how much faster is the 250ex and will the lift kit for the recon work for the 250ex so i can get a lil bit more clearance

 

Where are you trying to get more clearance? The most vulnerable spot would be the rear. The only way to improve that is taller tires.

 

get the recon. there the same motor, and get a 250ex bore kit and have a fast recon...
bigger tires will do the trick.
