Default What is the best sport ATV for my Budget?

Ok i'm tired of lookin at quads that are way too expensive for my budget. I don't care if its a 3 or 4 wheeler, just as long as its a 2-stroke and its decently fast and in decent shape. I've been lookin for a ATC 250r, Blaster, or a banshee under $1400. I really need to know so i can start lookin fer somethin thats nice. I'm stuck ridin my 250ES Big Red right now. Its gettin so boring!!! I'd really like to know which atv to start lookin for. Oh yeah, i've been riding a long time and i have a lot of experience so i can handle just about anything there is to ride out there. Someone plz help me on this subject. Thanks.

Not knowing anything about you or your riding style and considering the word "budget" I can only think the blaster would be perfect. Cheap to maintain also, so long as it gets maintained.

Ok, i know of a guy with a blaster thats had a bore job done, and has a new pipe & silencer, new nerf bars, and has had a block kit put in it for the oil injectors. But it needs new rings. Its a 1994 but it doesn't have a headlight and he wants $800 for it and it still runs but he thinks its gonna blow up soon. Should i get or not? Please reply asap. Thanks.

ask him to test it out, or have a friend with a lil more knowledge and have him try it out!! if it ain't broke don't fix it!! thats what I do. Look in the cycle trader for a used shee and try to deal with the guy, that way you can do several mods or change parts fairly easy. Just wheel and deal! or sell the other quad
later

I would look at the LT250R also. You should be able to pick up a decent one at that price. Compared to the other bikes you listed, the Zook is the best handling by far, and they screw. My 85 has little trouble keeping up with my brothers piped shee, and it is a much easier bike to live with on the trails than his Yamaha. Really though, any of these will be all right as long as the previous owner has maintained the bike lovingly.

Haha, i think my buddy rode the hell out of his blaster, thats why it needs new rings. But i think its a good deal for $800. Don't you?

They dont get any cheaper than $800. That sounds about right with some room for bargaining, at that price it shouldnt need more than $100 though to get it running good or starting negotiating the price.

being as you can buy a new one for about 2300, I very seriously doubt his hulled out 94 is worth 1500..................he needs to lay off that wacky weed!
