Default 300ex electrical problem

i have a problem with my 300ex. I had it in my drivway in neutral running waiting for the engine to warm up when it seemed to just shut off, or stall. I noticed that the neutral light was no longer on. no i turned the key off and then back on and the neutral light didn't come on, but the bike was in neutral, i tried turning on my lights but they didn't work either, i pressed the start button and nothign happend. Then i turned the key back off and then on and all the lights came on, so i know that the battery is not dead, i pressed the start button and i heard a "click" sound and all the lights turned off. I took off the seat and made sure all wires were not loose, i replaced the fuse with the spare that it came with. Still there was no light, but every once in a while the light would come on. I think that there is a shortage some where. I have no idea what to do and any help would be appriciated, thank you.
