I'm wondering if these are good to buy. ARe those like first years raptors? Any problem with 99? Thanks

 

My friend has a 99 that he bought new. He has not had any problems at all(very well maintained). The only change from 99 that I know of is the name Fourtrax/Sporttraxsomething like that. Also the 04s have a bigger carb.

 

We have a 99 EX that we bought new,and we have had no problems.Solid bike.

 

Honda had problems with the swingarms cracking off in 1999.

I would be worried about this If I lived in quebec (cold).

some guy told me this, it cracks right up front, where the bolt goes, i will show you

my 1999 400ex was one of the first one to show, NEVER had any problems, still has the same battery.

 

i live in quebec that only cold in winter and we dont do atv in winter th summer its around 20'C

well all 400exs r the same they r all really great
the only thing is the 04 has a bigger carb
