A have a question about buying a used raptor ( or any quad in general). Is 800miles on it too much? I mean, will I have to do an engine rebuild, or replace parts on it if the quad saw normal riding time and abuse? What usually happens after that many miles? Thanks for the help.

 

Does it have an odometer?? How do you know its 800 miles?? Just curious. 800 miles isn't bad at all. I'll probably put that on mine in next years racing season...probably have that already on mine...[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img][img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-cool.gif[/img] Even just casual riding, I put about 60 miles on each weekend out...my Rappy is still running like a champ...

 

what year raptor and how long has that person had it????? w/ 2 strokes thats something to really worry about w/ the rebuild but i have more then 800 miles on my rappy and its fine just do regular tune ups and cleanings and mine runs perfect never a change.......

 

this guys sellin an 01 raptor with 00 raptor trans in it it has a 686 trinity he only wants 3000 and it needs new tires good deal?? he's a friend(kinda)

 

I assume you mean 02 trans? First year for the raptor was 01.

3 Large doesnt sound like to bad a deal if it has an updated tranny, but I would have to see it to decide.
