check for cracks in the frame especially around the swing arm piviot bolt. also check axle bearings and front hub bearings. It u have a compression tester bring it with u and check the compression of the motor. Also check to see if the person did routine maintenance on the air filer and crank case oil.

When the bike is running run through all the gears make sure none of them hang up or dont even shift at all
