I was wondering what is the best gearing for the 400ex in the dunes. I have a 10:5:1 piston, cam, 36mm lectron, and a white bros rev box. I have already changed the front to a 14, should I change the back to a 37? I just mainly hill shoot and jump, I'm really not looking for top speed.

As far as I can remember AIR uses 13/39 combination with paddles for the dunes

Thats right, Air and I have found that we like the combination of 13/39. It allows us to stay in a higher gear on the long steep hills out at sand mountain here in Utah. It just keeps pulling.
