I'm hitting the big time. This is my 3rd post WOWWW. Just got my 400ex last thursday & had my crappy day at the dunes. Had my bike in the shop today. Was a stuck float but I couldn't get to it at the dunes. So that was good to know. Nothing serious which was what I figured. So tommorow I'm working on my buddy's track. We just got a crapload of dirt from some new construction happening up the road. We've got about a 1/3 acre were building the track on. It has alot of u turns & will have a table top & a set of doubles. We are keeping the stretches fairly short to hopefully keep the injuries down. No area long enough to probably get past 2nd. Maybe 3rd once I'm a little more comfortable on my bike! Can't wait to tear it up tommorow. Should have it done by lunch so we can get a couple hours riding in after.
Looking into getting my new plastic & some nerf bars soon. Catch you guys later & if any of you are in Oregon shoot me an email & maybe we can hook up to ride. I didn't realize how many people in my area have quads. Since I've got mine I've had a ton of guys I know see mine in my truck this weekend. They are like hey we got to go ride. Heck I didn't even know most of them rode. I guess you notice it more when you have one. I gotta admit it's nice being the one going riding as opposed to seeing some truck pulling a trailer of quads & thinking you sucker!

 

Good luck with your track but I hope you get along with your neigbors since its just 1/3 acre.

Yah no worries with the neighbors. He's got a total of 6+ acres. It's surrounded by farming & there is only one neighbor. He happens to ride too so were set! Also on the size I might be off. It is about 80ft by 175ft. Figuring out acreage isn't really my thing. Either way it is going to rock! Spent a little time setting up the table top this morning. I'm heading back out this afternoon.
