Anyone have some sites for aftermarket mods. Also I don't know much about the blasters. she is a new rider and I just want to put a pipe silencer and maybe a jet kit into it. Any suggestions on type of pipe or maybe some good mods for a blaster.

Good job starting her out on something that has a clutch and a kick starter! Not sure on the pipes but it really depends on what you'll be using it for. My sugg. would be leave it stock until she is comfortable with the bike. Just a thought. The Noise scare's us beginners!

Good point. It will be used only in the sand. Glamis and Gordons well to be exact. She has ridden before and can use the clutch. She is just now ridiing in the dunes though. I am pretty sure I am gonna get a pipe and silencer, but I'm not sure who makes them for the blasters. I assume DG. But I would just like to know a site that I can look at for possible mods. She is small(5'4, and about 120lbs) so this should be a good bike for her. I just know she is gonna want more speed eventually.

Try Toomey pipes, I know they make a blaster pipe.

I was just on Trenga's site. Looks like a good deal. I like toomey pipes as well. Ahh the fun of a new toy. Even if it isn't for me. Next is mine. Around new years I'm gonna get one of the limited edition Raptors. Anyone own one of these? I just like the all black look.

If you're comfortable with tearing apart the top end, www.macdizzy.com offers a step- by-step build-up for the Blaster. I followed their recipe and can confirm that the end result is VERY impressive. The site is quite technical with mathetical jargon, but the things most significant from the site include: 1) porting, 2) raising the cylinder with a spacer plate between the bottom end and cylinder, and 3) shaving the head to compensate for the spacer and a little more for increased compensation. Easy to do, and once you're done the blaster comes on HARD, like a baby Shee. Very worthwhile mod. Other worthwhile mods would be the usual flipping rims for wider stance, and Shee front shocks for better handling.
