What are you paying for a trailer?

I'm going to buy a trailer here VERY shortly for our (Rincon, Wolverine, and KTM 300 EXC) The Wolverine and Rincon measure about 13'6" back to back with about 6" in between the two. I REALLY want a aluminum, but after getting a price on a Featherlite SMALL aluminum I doubt I'll go that route $1950 for a 12x5 He did have a new Featherlite aluminum 1430 (10x8) snowmobile trailer for $895 which seemed like a really good deal, but it had those little 10" tires and I really didn't think it would be safe if you had to hit the breaks hard.
Here are some of the prices I'm getting for Big Tex trailers. "Keep in mind these are TOP of the line steel trailers (Acid Wash, Enamel paint, GoodYear tires, Bulldog jacks etc, US steel steel (No pot metal)
12 x 6 1/2 $1195 with ramp
14 x 6 1/2 $1395 with ramp
16 x 6 1/2 $1795 with ramp, trailer breaks, and tandem axel
How much are you guys paying for your trailers? And what size do you have and how much are you getting on that trailer. I want to have enough room where you don't have to turn bike sideway just too get them too fit on the trailer.
The dealer also told me that the aluminum trailers are WAY more apt too be jacked than a steel trailer. Does your homeowners cover your trailer or do you have to get a seprate rider coverage?

i have a Zieman 2 place ATV trailer, it has 13 inch tires, gas rack, tool box, jack, tie down loops and a ramp. its around 7x10, you have to put one quad sideways ... but there is a ramp that hooks on for easy loading. I have had 2 quads and a dirtbike on there many times. it was 1500
I used a 2 place sled trailer for years and hated it, it was REAL wide and those 10 inch tires suck.
i insure my quads though my auto insurance
here is a pic of the 8x12 foot like mine trailer

I use an old boat trailer, that I rebuilt the deck on, I have the material and the welder to
make it a side load trailer too, just havent had the time recently.
I got the trailer for free from this guy whose boat sunk, and his inssurance
was buying him a brand new boat and trailer .
I did what I needed to make it usable, for about $250 and A little time.

ID just go with a 8x16 utility tandon you can make your own ramp on the rear or use the ones that come with it . here in oklahoma they go from $500 used to a brand new $1200 with the widest one you can get your rincon if its about the same length as my prairie on it sideways so you can get four quads the same size as ours on it at once.

I built my trailor for about 500 bucks. I got an old camper trailer and stripped it down to the frame. Then I did a bunch of work welding support beams and stabilization stuff. I left teh pull down jacks on it so I can take it off the truck hitch and it will still sit flat without putting pressure on the wheel jack. It is 8x14, and carries comfortably three bikes, and all our gear. If you can find a old boat trailor, those are easy to modify as well.

I'll be picking up a new Big Tex 35SA 12x6.5 with fold down ramp, expanded metal on sides, spare mount, fold up jack, and permanent registration. The dealer in Tucson got me out the door including tax right at $1400. Not a screamin deal, not a robbery either - it's a decent trailer for a fair price.
