I am going to buy a new Air filter for my Recon but I am not really sure what kind.
I was looking at the "Moose" air filter and the "Twin Air" or "Uni" air filter.

Should I go with a Foam filter or somthing like a K&N??? I am worried about the K&N because I have heard that they do not filter the dirt aswell, is this true?

first of all why are you getting a new filter? cause unless you get a K&N you aren't gonna see any performance gain.

 

i got a K&N today for my 400ex the only thing i can say is wow. what a differance a air filter can make

 

so you put in the k$n and went up one size on your main jet?

I have been riding K&N with the prefilter for like 3 months now and no probs. I live in vegas where there is alot of sand and dirt. I have checked my carb intake side for sand grit and none. If you get a K&N get the prefilter too.

 

K&N the only brand of air filter i will EVER buy after getting one NEVER gonna get a diffrent kind been using it for a few months with no problems at all
