If its 11:1 you should run around 94, I get good results with an 11:1 on a 94 (mix 90 with 110 race gas until its around 94 octane) or you can buy some octane boost with 92 octane and that should be fine

i prolly wont do it then.. there is no place to get it around here... the one place i can is a yamaha dealer... 40 dollars for 5 gallons.. i aint in the mood to spend 80 - 100 dollars a month on gas for my quad as well as my truck!

You can run it on high octane pump, but if you ride the **** of out it, and the quad really starts too heat up, you may get some pinging. I tried pump gas at the dunes once, after about 8 runs up comp, i got pinging, so I bumped up the octane and then it was fine. They make Octane boost for about 5$ a bottle that treats up to 25 galons of fuel, good for +3 octane (so they say) Alot cheaper than getting race gas if you ask me.

hozed 40 bucks for 5 gallons is way to much for race gas. I get b35 gas wich is 101 octain for 15 dallars for 5 gallons. if tou have a phillips 66 around ther you might beable to get it threw them. i have 12.5 comp. piston in mine got it from hpd. they said you need run atleast 97 or more.
