I currently purchased a 2000 450ES and am on the hunt for aftermarket parts to tweek it a bit. I have purchased a Supertrapp IDS2 Pipe, K&N Filter, and Dynojet Stage1 Jet Kit. IS anything else available for this particular bike to tweek it even more ? I know its overkill and insane, but the driving I do requires a heavy duty bike like the Foreman, I just want to tweek it up with all parts available for it. Thanks for any and all responses.....

HEY YOU WANT A GOOD TIP HOW TO MAKE YOUR FOREMAN HANDLE BETTER? WELL HERE GOES TAKE THE ALIGNMENT AND TOE IT IN 1/8 INCH. THE FOREMAN COMES STOCK AT 1/2 INCH TOED OUT. IT WILL MAKE IT HANDLE AWSOME 1000% BETTER. THIS WILL CAUSE A SMALL PROBLEM THOUGH THE BALL JOINTS TEND TO GET A LITTLE MORE STRESS AND YOU HAVE TO WATCH THEM A BIT. CHECK EVERY ONCE IN AWHILE TO MAKE SURE THE DUST BOOT FOR IT IS ON TIGHT. MINE CAME OFF ONCE IN THE YEAR THAT I SWITCHED IT THIS WAY AND HAVE PUT 6000KMS ON IT THIS WAY. IT HASNT HURT ANYTHING YET. IT WORKS THOUGH TRY IT YOU WILL BE SURPRISED.

PS. SORRY FOR THE CAPS BUT I TYPE FASTER THIS WAY NEED TYPING LESSONS. HAHA.

I'll agree with beast450, if you adjust the front wheel alignment it will make a world of difference in steering ease and handling. I set mine to 1/16" Toe-out.

Great Info. What tires are you guys running ? I run a set of Maxxis MudBugs 10" Front and 12" back. NOW, How does one go about setting the toe in/out on my 450ES ? Is there a SIMPLE way to do it ? Hopefully the HUGE lugs on my tires dont hinder the project in any way ...... look forward to some instruction as I have a wrench in my hand and am ready to cange it !

Kosaic:
I like the string method because it is very simple to use and you can properly center your handle bars at the same time.
Let us know how it works out for you.

Hrmmm ,,, I changed it , went for a SHORT ride ,, and seem to have developed a LARGE squeek in the front right. ( right when sitting on the bike ) This drives me nutz as I'm fairly particular and dont like squeeks ,,,,,, On the lighter side ,, it does steer much better but the squeek is twice as annoying as the harder steering ever was !

Is the squeek just from the front shock bushings when you hit a bump, or is it coming from the main steering shaft. Find where the noise is coming from, spray them with Armor-All and the squeek will go away. It is just a coincidence that the squeek appear at the same time as the wheel alignment. The shock bushings and steering shaft dust seal on my 450 first started to squeek after the first time I gave it a thorough soaking. A good dose of Armor-All solved the problem.
PS... I am very particular as well, I hate squeeks!
