Default recall vforce

has anyone got the recall from kawi about belt light not being able to reset after 100 hour service , wouldnt the trick under the seat fix this anyway ,also think i red on here that if light comes on it will not slow the machine down like p650 and others is this true .thanks

I have gotten NO RECALL notices RE: V-Force belt lite. I have gotten NO notices , period.

I havent got one.... I only just got mine about 3 weeks ago so mabe its comming.
but I havent seen anything about it.

the only recall I've heard about is the one for the Throttle cable

Factory mod on 700 V's igniters because when the 100hour belt light comes on it cant be reset even if its cleared correctly.

He is talking about a recall that has been issued by Kawasaki. Some V-forces have a defective part in the belt wear indicator system that prevents the belt check light from being reset, even after completing required maintenance. The repair consist of inspecting and replacing the igniter if it is among the affected batch.

my belt lite never came on and i'm positive i have well over 150 hours on my V
