Good news is I got mine Friday, bad news is I wasn't home to sign for it. Have to wait till Monday evening for it. I'm gonna try and put it on my 300EX tommorrow night and run it Tuesday morning. What are you putting it on? I ordered the quiet series. I think the cores are interchangable. Maybe I'll pick up the race core seperately and try that as well. Let you know, later.

I am currently using the IDS2 with race core and 15 discs in my 400EX . I like it better than the FMF powercore 4 in the sense that it is more tunable by adding or subtracting discs.

the ids-2 comes with the race core in it, you have to order the quiet core. the more disc you have in it the the more top end you have, fewer the disc the more bottom end you have.

99 426ex,11:1,port job,web cam,rev box,k/n,dyno jet kit,6 air box vents,ids-2 pipe,14 tooth sprocket = power

Kosiac...how does your new IDS2 compare to the stock pipe in loudness? Can't decide on the IDS2 or the WB E-Series for my 400EX...although I had an E-Series on my 2000 Warrior and was impressed with the fit and quality...but man it was loud with all 12 supplied discs.

I got my IDS2 on Monday, put it on with 12 discs but haven't taken it for a ride yet. Ran it in the yard though, sounds real nice. I have the quite core series for my 300EX. If sound is a concern, the quiet series should be something you should look at. I hope to get out on it this afternoon. Let ya know.

I also have the "Quiet Core" . I currently have 8 discs in it and it is NO louder than a stock pipe at all ! It has a real nice Throaty sound to it ! Dont be afraid of the IDS2 Quiet Core if sound is a concern. It is "Quiet" !
