I think it is the hona 250R it is 17 years old and still the quad that holds the standered for most the rest of them

What standard is that ?
Back in the 80s they were the the most refined sport quad until Honda dropped the line.
In stock form they dont really hold a candle to many of the stock machines available today. But they were a great starting point for many a racer since there wasnt much else available in the 90s.

I would say the good olds days are right here ,right now and quads like the new 450s and big dogs like the raptors , ds650, predators,have brought us to the new level of performance right from the factory that can do more than just mx.
We must not forget the still in production banshee.

 

Which do you mean......best all around quad? or best all around sport quad? If best all around quad, I would say the Kawasaki P700......If you mean best all around sport quad, I would say the Suzuki Z400.

i like my ds650, but i would like bombardier to respond to yamaha and honda with a 450 race quad, but i would like to see them use fule injection. i think that would be a kick *** quad. seems rotax is one of the best motors
