what good does a aftermarket swing arm do?
#2
Aftermarket swingarms can allow new types of suspension. If you drag race you can get a longer aftermarket swingarm so you don't wheelie of the start. If you race motocross you can get different length swingarms depending on how you race. They are usually made stronger and lighter. If you're not into any type of racing or anything, I wouldn't worry about a new swing arm.

After market swingarms are usually way heavier then stock. But if you have some motor work it helps keep the front end down so you can steer and is grate if your into hill climbing.
