Had an interesting night last night....

Went over to my buddies house, and he had a banshee there that seemed to be quite underpowered. He asked me to ride it, so i did. When I let out of the clutch in each gear, it would keep winding up some, then shift, like the clutch was slipping. When it reached the powerband, it was still being a slug.

I rode it down an asphalt road, turned around, and was going to go through the gears just a little. First gear- took off, lagging a little, went into the sluggish powerband, then, without anymore movement of the throttle (which was at around 3/4 by then) the rpm's spiked suddenly, and i was sliding on asphalt watching the 'shee cartwheel. WTF? Was that the clutch finally fully engaging or what? It baffled me. Now i am missing a huge chunk of elbow and have some really cool road-rash. Has anyone else ever encountered this??

p.s., The shee is ok, except for the grab bar, which is now bent at the same angle as the rear fenders, but looks kinda cool lol.

lol sounds like some one needs to adjust his clutch and get some new plates. I dunno why it would do that, maybe its mis firing and it finally fired right?

Maybe some plates are broken and all of a sudden, they moved causing the clutch to grab?
