Curious if the power gains are about the same and is one louder than the other. Any input would be great. Thanks, Mark. P.S. - do I need to re-jet after new exhaust???

From my experiance the Pro Circuit is the better exhaust. It sounds great and holds together. I've talked with some people who have done dyno testing with these exhausts and the Pro Circuit from what they said produces more horsepower gains. If you do the exhaust you should also rejet accordingly. You should also do some airbox mods to get the maximum gains!

The Yosh is a great looking pipe, but produces the least amount of HP of all the major pipes out right now. The Pro Circuit produces great power while keeping the noise level tolerable. Alll the pipes that are producing more power than the PC's are way too loud for my taste(i.e. DMC and HMF)

I would have to say the Yosh's...I put a set on my KFX 400 and my buddy just put them on his KFX 700 and they are a very polished well built product. Now I have never dyno tested them...but jetting is the key...if you dial in those yoshi's I cant see the Pro Circuits producing anymore power...maybe just hit stronger at different points....review the products and see where they hit the hardest and compare it to the riding you are going to do...to me that would have a bigger impact on my decision. My Yoshi's on the 400 turned it into a mid range monster...I am in no way beating YZ450's...but the thing truly has come alive and I am most impressed with the pipe.

My Buddy put the Yosh's on his KFX 700 and they sound wicked...we are at 5,000 feet altitude and the quad went from giving it throttle and trying to make it wheelie to having to pay attention when starting it to keep it from wheeling. She really has come alive and he hasnt added air (intake mod) or rejetted yet (got cold quick here in utah)...imagine how excited he is.

Now I have read several of Prairiewrenches post in the past...he is not one to post just to post or try and snow anyone...actually he has contributed a couple times in resolving issues on my prairie...if he has good information on the Pro Circuit I would have to give them a look. I am just sharing my experiences were I have used the Yosh's first hand and do not believe you will be dissappointed with them...quality construction, nice product, and they definitely do enhance performance....on another note we contacted 3 performance shops when looking for the pipes...all three were sold out and awaiting shipment (why he put them on so late)...they said they had aliens and hmf's but the Yosh's were in high demand...so they must have a pretty decent reputation...need to shop around if you opt for the Yosh's...they are pricey but there a good deals out there...buddy got them for $650 I believe (not positive)

Thanks for all the input!! Looks like I have some decisions to make. I'm pretty new to squeezing out performance from an ATV but I'm at least smart enough to get feedback from those with experience before I do anything. Thanks again, Mark.

PEOPLE SHOULDNT MAKE COMMENTS THAT ARNT TRUE. I HAVE HAD 3 DIFFERENT PIPES ON MY V. THE FIRST WAS DMC. NICE SYSTEM BUT, FROM THERE I WENT TO HMF. I LIKED THE POWER CURVE BETTER BUT THE FIT AND FINISH WAS TERRIBLE. THEN I SOLD THESE AND WENT TO YOSHI. I HAVE HAD A Z-400, RAPTOR WITH YOSH PIPES AND I LOVED THEM. THE ONLY REASON I BOUGHT THE OTHERS IS BECAUSE YOSH WASNT OUT YET AND I HATED MYSELF FOR IT. THE YOSH IS HANDS DOWN THE BEST SYSTEM OUT FOR THE V. IT FITS PERFECT LINES UP PERFECT. THE WELDS ARE BETTER THE HEAD PIPES ARE BETTER MATERIAL OR SOME THING CAUSE THE OTHER BRANDS TURN BLACK AND BROWN. BESIDES THE PRETTY PART THEY FLAT OUT RIP. MY TIMES IN 300' ARE AS FOLLOWS DMC - 6.17, HMF - 6.01, YOSH - 5.78. THESE ARE TIMES ON DIRT AT THE SAME TRACK SAME JETTING AND ALL STRAPED DOWN IN FRONT. BEST TIMES WITH GOOD LAUNCH AND REACTION TIMES. THATS MY DYNO. ITS A REALLY NICE PIPE BUT THEY ARE MORE EXPENSIVE THAN THE OTHER PIPES FOR THE V. ITS ALL ABOUT WHAT YA WANT TO DO WITH YOUR V AND THE MONEY YOU WANT TO SPEND. MY .02 WORTH

OH YA I FORGOT THE BIGGEST ADVANTAGE TO THESE PIPES IS THE DESIGN. THE FRONT CYLINDER EXITS OUT THE RIGHT REAR SIDE AND THE REAR COMES OUT THE LEFT. THAT MAKES THE PIPES CLOSER TO EVEN LENGTH CAUSE THE OTHER BRANDS I HAD THE REAR CYLINDER HEAD PIPE WAS ABOUT 7 INCHES LONG RIGHT INTO THE MUFFLER. AND THE FRONT CYLINDER HEAD PIPE WAS 3 FEET LONG. I BELIEVE THATS WHAT MAKES IT RUN SMOOTHER AND MORE POWERFUL. BUT AGAIN IM NOT AN ENGINEER OR MECHANIC

The Pro Circuit T-4 Duals with 140/145,145/150 jetting is bad ***.Take the snorkle off and use a PVC reducer bushing for venture affect gives it awsome torque all the way around. The fit and finish is top of the line.If you take the spark arrestors out hold on you going on a ride from hell. The Yoshi's are the Best looking but looks aren't everything.Had PC pipes for about 5 months and still looks brand new.

NO I HAVNT HAD A SET ON MY V. BUT I HAVE RACED 3 V FORCES INCLUDING MY COUSINS THAT HAS PRO CIRCUITS . AND SORRY TO TELL YA BUT I CAN TAKE HIM BY 3 QUADS IN 100 YDS. WE BOTH RUN PINK SPRINGS AND ARE JETTED ACCORDINLY. THEY ARE NICE PIPES AND ARE THE CLOSES THING TO YOSHIS. THE POWER ON THE YOSHIS IS THE SMOOTHEST AND TOP END IS BETTER. BUT THIS TOPIC IS JUST LIKE SAYING MY DAD COULD KICK YOUR DADS ***. A LITTLE IN SIGHT FOR THOSE WHO ARE ABOUT TO GET PIPES THE CLOSET V THAT HAS EVER CAME CLOSE TO BEATING ME IS ONE I RACED UP IN MICHIGAN IN THE SAND. HE WAS RUNNING BIG GUNS. AND HE WAS ON MY *** EVERY RACE. BUT IREALLY DONT LIKE THE LOOKS OF THEM

ILL TELL YA WHAT V NASTY. WHEN I RETURN TO LITTLE SAHARA IN OK AGAIN I WILL SEE IF YA WANT TO COME UIP FOR A LITTLE FREINDLY 300 FEET.

Exactly, my PC's were the best fitting system I have ever installed, and I have been doing this for the better part of 10 years now. The quality and performance on the PC sytem is second to none.
