Does polaris still make the 400 sport? I had one a few years ago and I'm thinking about gettting another but didn't see them listed on the polaris website[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-confused.gif[/img] what's up with that????

 

They stopped making them in 99. But continued them on as the Scrambler 400 2x4 (and 4x4) until 02. Then in 03 they changed it again to the Trailblazer 400. Now, it has been discontinued for 04 and we probably wont see it again[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-frown.gif[/img]

 

You can still get new '03s from your dealer. They are a trailblazer 400 and are basically the same as a sport. Go get one.

 

how can you tell the difference between the 99 400 sport and the 00-02 scambler sport? are the graphics different?
i'm going to look one this weekend and the guy selling it told me it is a 400 sport and i was told that it was about 2 years old.
what do you think it is worth

The graphics are different. The Sport will say "Sport" on the side. The scrambler ('00-'01) should have red plastic (unless it has been changed or is a LE '02 4x4 model) and will say "scrambler" on the side

 

THey made a bunch of upgrades in the 00-03 models like braided brake linesand better tierod ends to name a couple.
