which filter??? KnN or UNI????

which is the better filter for my type of riding?
I ride at the dunes and out in the desert.
I have a KnN 2 in to 1 and was wondering if the UNI with the same 2 in to 1 set up was better for my type of riding?
what is the difference between the two filters.

I have both and I think the K&N gives a little more power. Sure if you don't clean and oil it after each ride then you might have problems. I do this and use the outerwear and have never had a problem.

I have both filters, I switched to UNI from the K&N's because i found that the K&N's were letting just alittle bit of dirt by. I won't run anything but a foam filter now. I guess if you want all out horsepower go with k&n. I didn't fell any type of power loss from the K&n to the UNI

yes, Im using the outerwear also.
when I rode last weekend I ran in the desert and after about an hour of hard desert riding my banshee started running alittle fat. would that be caused by the air filter getting too dirty? I had just cleaned it before I rode that day.
