Default Purple Ice and Fuel Lube

I just bought 5 gal of M1 meth. for my ds, alky kit comming in thurs. While I was there I bought some Klotz Alcohol Fuel Lube and some Purple Ice for the coolant. The fuel lube says it blends with alcohol and Nitro, anyone use this type of fuel lube, what do you think. And I did a search for engine coolant and I couldn't find where anyone was using Purple Ice, Is anyone using this, is it better than engine ice.

the fuel lube is great. alcohol is very dry unlike gas so it is needed for lubrication. i use klotz fuel lube and have been using the same set of piston rings for 2.5 years.

Do you have to flush the coolant to use purple ice or can you just add it to your coolant system, I mean, can i be used with anti-freeze.

Thanks Scoob. Thats just what I was looking for. Who runs Royal Purple Oil, I looked on the site and think the Maxcycle 10w40 would be the best choice. I am running the Belray exp 10w40 now with no problems, I the royal purple better?

Purple Ice works great. I run it in my race car. I was contantly running 240-260 degrees and after i added 2 cans to a 4 core radiator it droped my temps 20-40 degrees. You just add it to the coolant and you do not have to flush it. For racing purposes everyone I know runs double the amount that they say and it works even better and does not harm anything except your wallet.

Just did my first oil change after the ten hours and I am using Royal Purple Max Cycle. Also on the Puple Ice if it is like the RedLine water wetter the less antifreeze you run the cooler the temp will get. BTW itv dropped the temperature on my head/Cam C5 10 degrees.

Ive run Pruple Ice for about 2 years now without any problems. All you do is add it to your coolant. It also aids in lubricating the water pump bearings
