Default Extended Swingarm v. Swingarm Extension

Well, its been a blast building my bike up but I have created a new problem as well. I simply have too much hp to keep the front end on the ground. I weigh about 170lbs and I can't keep the front end on the ground while tagging this bike. I can even sit on the handlebars and a blip of the throttle is all it takes to rear her up. So... do I buy an extended swingarm or buy a swingarm extension which can be taken on and off at will for half the price. All opinions on one or the other are welcome as well as any brand suggestions. I am looking very hard at the JTM extension.

Thanks.

If you have the money, get you a swingarm but if you dont, the JTM extensions works Great!!! It has never failed me yet, jumping dragging and trail riding is what I do.

I guess I should have noted that I do alot of duning, jump no higher than 6-8 foot on soft sand, a few trails and lots of wet open sand on the river. Wheelies are my specialty.

RapOwner, why would you have prefered a swingarm over your extension?

Hounddog, I'm gonna go with the JTM for the reasons you mentioned. $ for the 1st, ease of removal 2nd, And they look cool.

HoundDog06 - If I had the money yes, only because it would be lighter in weight. I love JTM and it went thru some flips end over end at about 35 mph and 15 ft jumps and still works great.

What kind of difference did it make in the handling when you installed your JTM? Can you still wheelie your bike if you wish? Does the bike still fly alright during a jump? Does it land better/worse?

Thanks,

my friend installed a +4 tucker on his rappy...He can't wheelie like he used to now though, but he says the handling feels a lot better now...as for jumping, they recommended not doing anything crazy...

handles way better than stock when climbing and trail riding. Now if your bike was stock like mine when I got my JTM I couldnt wheelie as easy. Now that I got my motor moded to a 690 its back like it was before I put the extension on. Do wheelies all day!!
