Tecate 4 motor swaps

Tecate 4 motor swaps
I just bought my Tecate 4 tonight. The orignal motor is long since gone as are the electronics. It came with a complete 88 LT 250R motor and electronics. I kinda want to keep it Kawasaki by going to a KX 500 motor or maybe a KLX 650 motor. Anybody ever done a motor swap like these before. Any info would be appreciated
