Default Question--Will the yfz 450?

Wiil the yfz 450 do good on long trail rides at about 5500' elevation? I am looking to get a quad, I'm 6'2" and 205#. I was leaning to the Predator, but now thinking of the 450. I don't want to have to deal with moding the bike a lot. The trails would be nothing like up and down a side of a mountain, but logging trails and fire lines during the summer months. I will take it to the dunes 2-3 times a year and desert riding during the winter.

Thanks for any input ir advice you have.

from experience, the pred and the 450 arent the best rail choices, also if your going to get a dune machine also and dont want to spend a lot of money go with the DVX400

Better get a Raptor. Reverse comes in handy when your trail riding. Plus the possibilities are endless.

Your height seems a little big for the 450. If your looking for a trail and dune machine the Raptor is your kinda bike.

You're asking specifically about the YFZ/Pred... I ride my YFZ on trails when I'm not in the sand and it kicks royal ***. Screw reverse. And with a few mods you'll be king of the trails. Get the YFZ.
