I want more horsepower. How can I get it. I have a raptor.

I would like more horsepower on my raptor. How could i get it. I already have a pipe and a k&n filter. what else can i do. and it isn't that expensive.

you can put a higher compression piston and stage 1 cam in your rappy. That is 5-6HP there.
You can get it ported and polished. That will increase your hp by 10-15%.
You can do a lot to get more power. That is one of the great things about the Raptor...you have a ton of options. But above are my next two mod's.

Get a 686 kit or a 727 kit. I would stick with the 686 to prolong the engines life. Or you could turbo charge it for 3,000 dollars. http://www.paatving.com/Articles/tur...urboraptor.asp

I run a 12:1 686 and it definitely will flat stomp a stock raptor. Depending on your budget you can do alot to your machine to build tons more power. If you're really energetic you could always find an R1 motor to drop in there. [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-wink.gif[/img]

Change your sprocket size, no actual horsepower gain, but torque or top speed gain depending on which way you go. I went down to a 12 tooth on front, for dune climbing. Big difference for under $20
