I bought the GYT-R radiator mesh screen for $50 today, it was on sale... my buddy said that he had read about people having over heating issues from restricted air flow with them on hotter 85+ days. Anyone have any experiences or stories about these things?? Just wanna know soon so if there is a problem I can take it back!!!

 

A buddy of mine has that screen cover and has never had a problem with it.

I'm actually goin to put the Flame Cut cover on mine, and I've never heard of any problems with it either.

 

I had one on mine without a problem until I added porting, stage 2 cam and 11:1 piston. Now on hot days, every time I shut the thing off, the fan is running. I never saw the temp light go on, but it's better safe than sorry.
