today and last night we got hit hard with a good bit of snow my friend has a 650 prairie and just put some itp 589's on it 25's i think and the tires wear rubbing and it got a big hole in its gas tank anyways just wanted to ask if anyone else is having fun in the snow HOPEFULLY NO SCHOOL TOMMOROW [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img]

 

heck yea!!!!! I tore it up in the street yesterday, My ATC will do doughnuts like crazy. It was slick enough I could keep my front wheel in one spot and have the @$$ end jut spin around it, What a blast!!!!!! Good luck on the school thing, I know I have work!!!!

Damn you guys. We are getting a inch tonight.....but we're going to get quite a bit of snow wenesday and thursday. So I'm looking forward to that.

 

What is SNOW - When it snows 2 inches here, the town shuts down. When they forecast snow you can not get in the grocery stores. Folks buy bread, milk, and can soup like they are going to be locked up for 5 weeks. Last time we saw snow, we were all asleep and it melted ( 1 1/2 inches, yes we measure snow in 1/2's here ) with in 2 hrs after sun up. Well so much for the pretty white stuff. BUT - we are still playing golf and riding ATV's in shorts and T-shirts on the weekends. Come visit us sometime in Mississippi...... We just a bunch of Good -Ole-Boys down here .....

 

Yahama660R - My dad was a Coal Miner in Logan for many years. Still have family in Logan.. Visited last year and drove over to Snow Shoe Mountain and skied for a few days. BEAUTIFUL Country in West Va... I will check with you later in January to see what the ski conditions are looking like. Last year we came in Jan and was hit with a GREAT snow storm that dropped 9 inches. We enjoyed every inch of it.... Mark

 

How do you guys drive in the snow ? All my tires do is spin. I got stock ones on it. I was thinking about getting Maxxis 4-Snow tires but what do you guys think ? I have an 02 Raptor.

As for the Maxxis 4 Snow tires....they make great drag tires.

 

lol its funny to see you americans get so worked up with snow. here in canada its been failry snowy since late sept. its fun for a while till you get stuck every five seconds. i got a yfz with stock tires and those are so horrible on ice or snow.lol

 

No snow here in So.Cal...its just been getting cold as @#$! at night, but once that sun comes up its beautiful out...
