P650 low Range is shot

Went riding this weekend and tore low range out. I was climbing a steep hill and hammered the throddle. I heard
a loud pop and then nothing but grinding. High and reverse works fine. I have extended warr. It has 820 miles
on it. Iwill be taking it to the dealer tommorow for repairs. I bet it will take a long time to get it back. Is this a common problem? I checked the shifter adjustment and it is ok. I hate the thoughts of someone pulling my eng
down in a thousand pieces. I will post results on what they tell me tommorow.

The low rang gears look to be inside of the crank case. Which would require the removal of the eng and dissasembly. I was looking at kawasaki's parts diagram. Hey cartman where in charleston do you live. I live
