hey people
I was thinking about changing the sprockets on my 1998 blaster so i could make it go about 65 MPH...is it possible or is it just asking to much for the little 200CC motor to handel. Also what other mods could i do to make it go faster...any ideas would be appreciated.

You may get it to 65mph with a HUGE sprocket but then it's gonna take off slower than a Yugo. Why do you care about the 65mph speed? Lot more to riding than top speed (unless you don't like to turn).

What state are you in? Here in Arizona it doesn't take much to street legalize a quad but my main insurance company won't insure me if I do. Haven't checked others but need to. I mainly just want to cruise around town just for fun. Not sure if I would want to ride on 65mph highways though. Especially on a Blaster. Even if you hit 65mph, you're gonna have that thing full throttle for quite awhile. Can't imagine the motor lasting very long doing that. But, worth a try.

if u get 20's they will slow you down, get 22's. the bigger the rear tire the higher the top speed. then get a 14tooth sproket. then if you want more power, get a pipe. but either way, if you really wanted to haul a$$ wihout pushing your motor, you'll need a 240 kit
