Default Specialty Vinson Hop-Ups

Are there any special power or performance upgrades designed specifically for the Vinson? For example, there's the holeshot modulator for the Prairie from Diamond G. Does the Vinson have any gleaming problems that should be taken care of almost immediately after buying? Can you run 26" or 27" Mudlites on the stock rims without any problems? Any kind of helpful information is welcomed because I may be buying one this weekend. Thanks!

I bought an 04 Camo Vinson last Saturday. I've only put about ten miles on it so far, but I can tell I'm goint to like it a lot better than the Kodiak that I traded in on it. I've ordered 26" Kenda Bear Claws, and a Moose Tube bumper for it.

yes there are the following things

Four Stroke Tech

FST Cam:120$
FST 581 Big bore kit. 290$ plus boreing of the old cyclinder about 100-150$

Works Makes ARS shocks
frounts and rears. For 1 Pair frounts say with ARS they are 389$

kimpex:
frount and rear bumpers 60$ each

highlifter:
lift kit $100
heat fighter kit. $50

HMF Engineering
Slip On pipe. 200 bucks

Dyno jet:
Jet kit: 30$

Haveing all this on your vinson like it do: Priceless.

and yes 28" even fit on stock rims. i run 26" 589, which are 9s or 10s in the frount i cant remember. and 12" on the rears, you can run without the lift to, and that goes for like 28" outlaws, or 28" mudzillas, supposedly 29.5" outlaws fit.

hope this helps.

red goblin there are a few things that i highly recomend doing as soon as you buy a vinson. First is front a arm guards to keep sticks and other crap from ripping the cv boots, The aluminuim suzuky ones make it look really cool. The other thing that you should do is buy a good bumper for the front to protect all that plastic in front. The suzuki one looks really good and iv not had any problems with it yet and also dosent block the front fixed lights like some iv seen. Its made of very heavy guage tubing and powder coated. goes nice with the rear one to.

the speedo only will go to 62 mph but iv had mine to 71 on gps with the tires why over inflated and on a paved run way. With normal tire pressure it will top out around 65 or so but you need a good 1/4 mile or more to get it there

You boys better be carefull. I just saw one go up in smoke this weekend. Short version: two girls just tooling along some local trails, all of the sudden big cloud of blue smoke. Dad going back for the pick up truck..........
