Default sportsman question

Do the speedos and gauges on the sportsman 500 and 600 have a backlight so you can see them at night?

My 2001 does so I would guess that at least everything past that would also. Not sure about pre 2001.

On the atvconnection atv test they said they toped out their sportsman 600 at 45 mph. Is this true?

No, I seriously doubt that. My 500 will do over 50mph easily.

You need to read the whole sentence or you will not get the whole picture. A 600's true speed by GPS is 60 t0 62 mph.

Power is abundant and the only time we wanted more was during a fire roading segment, climbing a mountain, in 2x4. We topped out at about 45mph, indicated, during the climb.
This speed is when climbing a mountain.

To answer the initial question. Yes they are all backlit, even the older analog models.
