Spell checker

A spell check function will probably never happen on this forum - too much overhead for most servers. You can, however, cut & paste your reply into a Word document or even your e-mail client and use one of those spell checkers; a tedious procedure, but well worth it if your name is Lovinhonda (...hint, hint).

lablover,
I can only say AMEN to your idea.
The result, I'm afraid, would be that many would disable the function since they'd be unable to select the correct spelling option anyway
In addition, they seem afraid to use the edit button. I think I'm venting..thanks for giving me the excuse

Spell check would be nice, but not really needed. As someone already said, as long as I get the point of the post, thats all that matters.
But the others are right also. I have seen some post that I just don't know what the person was saying.
Some of my posts are mispelled now and then. But you try to hold a 5 month old in one arm and try typing. And at the same time that 5 month old is hitting keys for you as you go. LOL
Kids, ya gotta love 'em.
